Role Overview
The Admissions Officer plays a key role in attracting and enrolling prospective students. This role involves guiding applicants through the entire admissions process, evaluating applications, and serving as a welcoming ambassador for the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end admissions processes including inquiries, applications, interviews, and enrollment
- Conduct informational sessions, campus tours, and open house events for prospective students and families
- Review and evaluate student applications in accordance with institutional criteria
- Maintain accurate records of all applicant data in the admissions management system
- Follow up with prospective students and parents to address queries and guide decision-making
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop outreach and recruitment strategies
- Attend educational fairs, school visits, and community events to promote the institution
- Generate regular reports on admissions pipeline, conversion rates, and enrollment targets
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, or customer relations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in student information systems or CRM platforms
- Empathetic, student-centric approach with the ability to build relationships
