Job Description:

Position: Manager Commercial

Location: Port Qasim, Karachi (requires travelling)

Reports to: CEO

Team Size: 11 to 12 individuals in the team

Purpose: A senior leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth, building strategic partnerships, and managing high-level regulatory relationships within Pakistan's Oil & Gas sector. The role combines strategic business development, contract management, and regulatory advocacy to strengthen market position and ensure compliance with national regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute commercial and business development strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders OMCs, refineries, White Oil Pipeline, OGRA, Ministry of Petroleum, and Port Qasim Authority.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and customer account management to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and advocate for favorable policy outcomes.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring for the commercial function.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management for growth and risk mitigation.

Profile Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree
  • At least 10 years' experience in commercial, business development, or regulatory roles within Oil & Gas especially OMCs
  • Age: 35-45
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship management abilities.
  • Strong leadership & team management capabilities
